Frequently Asked
Questions
Everything you need to know about our heavy duty galvanised trailers.
Where can I buy a trailer in Perth?
You can buy a heavy duty galvanised trailer directly from Rhino Trailers at our Welshpool workshop — 119 Kurnall Road, Welshpool WA 6106. We're open Monday to Sunday, 8AM to 5PM. Call us on 0485 543 496 or visit our contact page for a free quote.
What does 'hot-dip galvanised' mean?
Hot-dip galvanising is a process where the entire trailer is submerged in molten zinc, creating a thick, durable coating that protects against rust and corrosion. This makes our trailers ideal for Australia's harsh conditions — from coastal salt air to outback dust.
Do you have caged trailers for sale?
Yes! All Rhino trailers come with 900mm removable caged sides as standard. Our 8×5 tandem axle and 7×5 single axle box trailers both feature heavy duty galvanised cages for secure transport of goods.
Do your trailers come with a warranty?
Yes, all Rhino trailers come with a structural warranty. We stand behind the quality of our workmanship and materials. Contact our team for full warranty details specific to your trailer model.
Can I get a custom trailer built?
Absolutely! We offer a range of optional extras including cages, spare wheels, rear ramps, removable H-frames, and H-bars. We can also discuss custom modifications to suit your specific requirements. Just get in touch with our sales team.
Do I need brakes on my trailer?
In Australia, trailers with an ATM (Aggregate Trailer Mass) over 750kg are required to have brakes. Our 8×5 Tandem Axle trailer comes with mechanical over-ride brakes as standard. The 7×5 Single Axle trailer (750kg ATM) does not require brakes under Australian regulations.
Where are Rhino Trailers manufactured?
All Rhino Trailers are designed and manufactured at our facility in Welshpool, Perth, Western Australia. Every trailer is built by skilled technicians using premium-grade materials and modern manufacturing techniques. We're a local Perth trailer manufacturer you can trust.
Do you deliver trailers in Perth and WA?
Yes, we offer trailer delivery across the Perth metropolitan area and throughout Western Australia. For interstate enquiries, please contact us directly and we'll do our best to arrange delivery or discuss options.
What trailers do you have for sale near me?
We currently have two new models available at our trailer shop in Welshpool: the Heavy Duty 8×5 Tandem Axle Box Trailer (2,000kg ATM) and the Heavy Duty 7×5 Single Axle Box Trailer (750kg ATM). Both are hot-dip galvanised, fully welded, rust proof, and available for purchase. We also stock trailer accessories including spare wheels, ramps, and cages.
Are your trailers rust proof and corrosion resistant?
Yes. Every Rhino trailer is hot-dip galvanised, which means the entire trailer is submerged in molten zinc. This creates a thick, corrosion resistant coating that makes our trailers virtually rust proof — perfect for Perth's coastal conditions and the harsh Australian outback.
Are Rhino Trailers Australian made?
Yes, all Rhino Trailers are proudly Australian made. We design and manufacture every trailer at our facility in Welshpool, Perth, Western Australia. By building locally, we maintain strict quality control and support local jobs. Our fully welded construction and premium materials ensure each trailer meets the highest Australian standards.
Do you sell trailer accessories?
Yes, we offer a range of trailer accessories at our Perth trailer shop. Available extras include removable cages (900mm), spare wheels, jockey wheels, rear loading ramps, removable H-frames, H-bars, and more. Visit us at 119 Kurnall Road, Welshpool or call for pricing.
